The Finish point of view
We asked citizens about differences and similarities between other countries. At the subject of the food, they told us the portuguese people eat 3 times a day, French really enjoy eating and celebrate their meals, and about the Finish, they agreed that eat a lot and often.
About stereotypes we found out that Portugal is considered as a country of really friendly people, French are artists who eat garlic a lot and don't speak English. About the Polish the main opinion is that they drink a lot
When we came here we saw only red,blue and yellow houses and we were courious. Today we asked people about it and they told us that this is a tradition, there is no rule for painting houses in Finland.
We asked the teacher about school differences. In his opinion students in other countries behave better, discuss more while the lessons, but in Finland comparing to us they have more practical lessons. Also lenght of lessons is different. In Portugal it's 90 minutes, in Finland 75 minutes, in France 30-60 minutes and in Poland 45 minutes.
The most popular sport in a France, Poland and Portugal is football and in Finland is ice hockey.
The newspapers in Portugal are mostly about scandals and gossips. The French press is focused on politics.
